German Marketing Day: LoyJoy wins startup competition 🚀 🏆

The Münster-based technology company LoyJoy has won the startup competition at the 46th German Marketing Day.

The chatbot startup came out on top against four other nominated startups in the Startup Bootcamp final. The winner of the competition was chosen by the marketing audience jury, consisting of marketing experts and investors. Over 1,500 trade visitors make Marketing Day the leading annual event for marketers in Germany.

“It was already a great success for us to be one of the five finalists,” emphasizes Ulf Loetschert, Co-Founder of LoyJoy. “The fact that we emerged as the winner will give us a big boost on the market,” says the former management consultant. The prize money of 20,000 euros, which is provided in the form of media services from the trade magazine absatzwirtschaft, will be helpful.

LoyJoy offers its customers a software solution for conversational marketing. Conversational means that communication between the company and the customer takes place via automated chat. LoyJoy, which stands for Loyalty and Enjoyment, focuses on marketing use cases and also uses gamification elements to attract and retain customers. “Our vision is to transform the entire customer relationship into a chat dialog. Automated and emotional. And we are already implementing this with our customers,” says Ulf Loetschert.

Although only founded in 2018, customers such as Beiersdorf AG, WestLotto, Géramont, Milkana and Kölln are already using LoyJoy’s software.

The 46th German Marketing Day took place on December 4 and 5 in the Düsseldorf exhibition and congress halls. The event was organized by the German Marketing Association, the Management Forum of HANDELSBLATT MEDIA and the trade magazine absatzwirtschaft.

In addition to LoyJoy, Opinary, 1plusX, OneFID and Proctorio were invited to Düsseldorf as finalists.
