WGV Case: YoungDriver Insurance Bought in Chat
Interactive YoungDriver chat from WGV: calculate tailored insurance coverage playfully and complete it directly, successful since 1921.
Württembergische Gemeinde-Versicherung (WGV) has been offering needs-based insurance coverage since 1921 and lets novice drivers calculate and complete their YoungDriver policy directly in a chat, playfully instead of through a classic application form.
Initial Situation
The goal was to enable novice drivers without their own car to calculate and directly sign up for the matching YoungDriver insurance not through a classic application form, but in a playful chat dialogue.
Results
Just under 25 % of chat conversations led to a successful contract conclusion, a strong rate for a dialogue-based application path and proof that a playful dialogue can convince customers even when it comes to signing an insurance policy.
Testimonial
“We are very satisfied. That is of course mainly due to the product, but certainly also to a certain extent due to the nature of the dialogue.”
