LoyJoy is starting 2025 with a number of exciting innovations 🚀 aimed at helping companies optimise their customer interactions. From AI-supported product advice to improvements in the knowledge module and new functions in the chat UI - we have further developed the platform to drive automation, personalisation and efficiency even further.

AI shopping agent provides product advice 💡

AI-supported product advice for sales will take centre stage at LoyJoy in 2025! One example of this is our customer Wine in Black, which uses the ‘Intelligent Sommelier’ to help customers select premium wines and offers. This innovative solution shows how AI can enrich the sales process. Try the sommelier now

For quick and easy implementation, we have developed a new product advisor template that supports companies in efficiently integrating customised product recommendations into their processes. Product management has also been improved: the new product section in LoyJoy Manager allows product data to be added or edited directly. Learn more
The product API, with which product data can be uploaded programmatically and integrated into existing systems, ensures greater automation. Learn more


Gen AI-supported knowledge processing and Explainable AI 🤖

Our generative AI functions have been extended with new options to take knowledge processing and transparency to a new level. In the GPT Knowledge module, you can now configure the number of knowledge chunks up to 32 to obtain more relevant and precise answers. At the same time, an optimised source selection ensures that multiple references within a source are better sorted and prioritised.

The improved website crawler converts HTML content from web pages into Markdown, preserving the original structure and links. This not only ensures better processing, but also more intelligent link recommendations within the chat.

Another highlight is the introduction of Explainable AI. From now on, sources can be cited directly in the body text of generated answers, which ensures maximum transparency. This feature is currently supported by Cohere’s Command-R model. To test, select this model under Knowledge > ‘Settings’ tab. Other models will follow in the future.


Flexibility through module-based customisation ⚙️

To further personalise the use of AI, LoyJoy now offers the option of selecting the AI model for each module individually. This allows you to use the powerful GPT-4o in complex scenarios, for example, while the GPT-4o mini model remains the default for standard tasks.

In addition, the new web search in the GPT knowledge module allows answers to be expanded with information from the internet. In addition to the internal knowledge database, the web is searched for relevant sources, whereby various search engines can be configured in the module settings.

Optimisations in the chat UI 💬

The user-friendliness of the chat has been significantly improved by several adjustments. The chat footer now expands automatically for longer entries and scrolls when required, allowing users to ask even complex questions with ease. There is also a new function that allows chat users to view additional sources with a simple click on ‘+’ instead of only being shown the four most important ones. In addition, new API parameters have been introduced that allow chats to be started directly from a search field. This allows a predefined question to be seamlessly transferred to the chat in order to control the interaction in a targeted manner. With message and suggestions, messages and suggestions for the chat can be defined in advance. Learn more


Enhancements through new modules and process optimisations 🛠️

Several new modules have been added to the LoyJoy platform, offering companies even more opportunities to optimise their processes. With the new Form module, for example, you can create customisable forms that facilitate data collection through AI-supported validation and auto-completion. The Brevo module is now available for marketing automation, allowing you to integrate personalised email campaigns directly into your processes. With the new chatHistoryLive function, you can also seamlessly transfer live chat histories to CRM or ticket systems, making customer service even more efficient. Learn more


User-friendliness and design on a new level ✨

The design of the platform has also been further developed to make it even more intuitive to use. In the process editor, the new drag scrolling with the centre mouse button makes it easier to navigate complex workflows. The chat now automatically adapts to your company’s brand colours to ensure visual consistency. In addition, videos in the Video Gallery module are now played directly inline on mobile devices without activating full-screen mode. Learn more


Analytics and cost control 📊

To keep track of usage costs, the analytics options have been expanded. In the Places module, API calls for Google Maps can now be tracked in detail, which helps you to control costs more efficiently. Learn more
