R+V Versicherung is one of Germany’s largest insurers – and is now breaking new ground in digital customer communication. Together with LoyJoy, the digital AI assistant Emmie was developed. The first use case is live: a chatbot for pet insurance. Further areas of application are already in the planning stage.

The launch of Emmie marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between R+V and LoyJoy – with the aim of redesigning digital customer communication through conversational AI and automated processes.

At the project launch, Emmie assists customers with questions about pet insurance. The digital assistant provides immediately understandable answers, asks follow-up questions in context, and guides interested parties to the appropriate online website.
